Drop-In Advice Sessions

Drop-in advice sessions with Derby Refugee Forum are on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

We open the doors at 8:30 AM and start giving out appointments at 9 AM in the order that everyone has arrived. We try to do this fairly, so please do stay until we have given you the appointment for the day.

We cannot offer a specific time when you will be seen as this depends on many factors, such as the number of volunteer advisors we have on the day, the complexity of issues our service users come with, homeless people having priority, etc.

We do not offer pre-booked appointments. Please come at 8:30 AM on Tuesday or Thursday.

Any immigration-related issues are signposted to our immigration advisor Ferid and you do not need to queue for an appointment to speak to him. Please speak to the reception upon your arrival to be directed to his office.

Please note that if we cannot offer help on the day, we will always ensure to signpost you to a more suitable organisation.
