On Tuesday, at Bosnian Centre Derby, we marked 30 years since the genocide in Bosnia as part of Holocaust Memorial Day with our event “Bosnia: Remembrance and 30 Years of Peace.”

We remembered the victims of the Srebrenica genocide, honoured the strength and resilience of survivors, and reflected on three decades of peace, rebuilding, and community. It was a moment to hold grief and hope side by side, and to remember why remembrance truly matters.

We would like to say thank you to everyone who made the special effort to travel from all parts of the UK to be with us and mark this important day at our centre. Your presence, solidarity, and shared reflection meant more than words can say.

🙏
