Energy Advice

We joined a partnership work with Marches Energy Agency and Citizens Advice in a project called Warmer Derby and Derbyshire (WDD3).

The aim of the project, which is funded by the Energy Saving Trust, is to enable vulnerable consumers to become more confident and independent whilst reducing levels of fuel poverty and improving general health and wellbeing. We are working with householders and referral partners to help residents sustain a warm, healthy home in the long term. Householders struggling to pay bills, with poor home energy efficiency, with long-term health conditions, or vulnerability due to age or language barrier will be the focus – closely aligned with the core priority of the ER scheme. We provide training, develop communications for non-English speakers, and reach vulnerable energy customers across the county. We also offer home visits to vulnerable households providing casework support and energy saving measures advice.
